Software Tester

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional and non-functional testing of software applications.
  • Create and execute test cases and test scripts based on project requirements.
  • Identify, document, and report software defects or issues using bug-tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with developers and other team members to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
  • Participate in review meetings and ensure proper documentation of test results.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure new features do not break existing functionality.
  • Ensure adherence to the testing process, and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies.
  • Provide detailed feedback and suggestions for improving software quality.
  • Perform both manual and automated testing, depending on the project requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
